Who should attend Career Night?

All students currently enrolled in or considering a major in the fields of agriculture, health, or the environment should attend Career Night. To view a listing of the majors offered by the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, click here.

Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students are all encouraged to attend. High school and other prospective students are also welcome.

What types of organizations will be at Career Night?

UConn CANR/RHSA alumni, who were once in your shoes and are now working in their field of study, as well as other career representatives will be present to talk with you about your career options. Click here to view last year's program to get a sense of the types of organizations that typically attend.

Do I need to prepare for Career Night?

Career Night is intended to be an informal career fair. It will provide you with the opportunity to discuss your career options with people currently working in the field.

Several employers may have current job or internship openings. If you are interested in applying for a job or internship, it is a good idea to dress professionally and bring several copies of your resume.

Click here to access a PowerPoint presentation on how to make Career Night a successful event for you.
